I moved to Oslo, Norway, in 2006 and have worked at Holte AS (AEC software), Veidekke Entreprenør AS (Scandinavias largest construction company), Miros AS (Radar based oil spill detection systems) and Helsedirektoratet (Health Directorate). Currently I am working at Syscom AS as the technical architect. Since moving to Norway I have always worked with informatics and is currently exploring the exciting world of the “Internet of Things”. My favourite quote is: “Software is eating the world” by Marc Andreessen.
All companies, whether they like it or not, are turning into technology companies. Therefore I am very glad I studied Civil Engineering Informatics at Stellebosch University.
